Dang, how many Slash's did I have in the title?
Anyway, I picked up Slash's solo CD at BB for $7.99.
I'm impressed. He has a boatload of singers on the list. Myles Kennedy, Ian Astbury, Ozzy, Fergie, Lemmy, Adam Levine, Chris Cornell, Kid Rock, M Shadows, and Iggy Pop. One signer from Wolfbone or something like that.
Cornell and Levine have the slower rock songs, and Kid Rock has a mid tempo one. This is a good rock n roll record, with the singers blasting away and Slash with some good solo work.
I was surprised at how well this sounded. Much better than VR.
Also, Grohl and Duff show up for a song without vocals. Izzy plays on the first song with Astbury.
