i almost pissed my pants when he opened that soda.. its like, you knew what was gonna happen, but still.. i was giggling like a lil fat kid eating his hidden treats in his room.. haha!!

I died once I realized he was pulling the LA to NY move when Fox brought up the children's charity.


Larry is crazy man. I still think last week's episode was the season's best. That car scene man.

I liked the finale last night, but felt it was one of the weaker ones curb has done. i guess nothing will beat last years finale with seinfeld or the one where they start cursing at each other in the restaurant or the producers finale. lol

i liked the last scene how it was exactly like the first episode. reminded me of the seinfeld finale with the few last lines that were from the first episode of the series

anyone else felt bad about michael j foxes shaking? he was one of my faves from the 80s and it pains me to see him liek taht.

It's weird; I thought it was a good episode but I also thought it was kinda weak. Leon was great, the kid was great, Jeff & Susie were jokey but not bad, and I thought Michael J. Fox was hilarious. "I'll be back in two shakes" had me .

But now I'm just kinda "...meh" where other episodes this season had be laughing days later thinking about them. I think this season (for the most part) just kept raising the bar on itself, I might've expected too much...though I did like most of it.

Ah screw it, I'll just blame the ending. That's probably it.

I thought it was ok, not the greatest but it wrapped up the season nicely.

Glad Curb "redeemed" itself this season. I put redeemed in quotes because it hasn't been bad the last couple of years, it just hasn't lived up to expectations from previous seasons (imo). This season was one of the funniest of the eight so far.

Larry David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” will return for Season 9 on HBO, the premium cabler announced Tuesday.

“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of ‘Curb’ and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Casey Bloys, president, HBO programming.

Asked why he decided to come back, David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”

The hit comedy stars “Seinfeld” co-creator David as an over-the-top version of himself in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life. With 80 episodes to date, the show is HBO’s longest-running scripted comedy or drama series. David also starred in and co-wrote the 2013 HBO Films presentation “Clear History.”

No details on a Season 9 premiere date or additional casting have been announced at this time. The show hasn’t aired new episodes since 2011, but back in 2012, HBO chairman and CEO Richard Plepler told reporters at the annual Television Critics Assn. press tour that David “essentially has carte blanche with us … And when he wants to come back and do ‘Curb,’ we’d be thrilled.”
