    Even with the current 14% on RT, it still made over 30 million dollars this weekend.

        Not that they followed the same storyline or anything, but this James Bond movie has been made before:



        Technically they're rebooting the franchise altogether anyway (maybe with a trifecta in terms of Daniel Craig's rendition of Bond), so I don't really know what it has to do with the original. But it's a remake nonetheless.

            James Bond 23 has been put on hold.

            Still, I wouldn't consider Casino Royale a remake of a Peter Seller's spy spoof film simply because it has the same title and characters. It is another screen adaptation, yes, but remake I would disagree.
