I agree, Triple H would have been a great Thor.

He's directed like 10 Shakespeare movies. He has no business directing this movie. Also, I don't even know what Asguardian means.

Thor is from Norse mythology...their home realm is Asguard, Like Mount Olympius for the greeks pantheon.

And having a strong hand at directing period peices and incorporating a magical feel to worldly themes is a strong suit of his. He's the most exciting thing about this project for me so far.

And just because HHH looks the part doesn't mean he has the acting chops to pull this off. I love his work on WWE but so far he hasn't translated it well for the craft of pure acting.

Ehh all I see is Shakespeare and romantic comedies from this dude. Don't know the guy's movies, just saw his filmography.

I'm a big HHH fan as well. He's only done the Blade movie. That was pretty much just his character as a vampire. I'm biased but I'd just like to see him in that part.

Lol, well he looks cheesy, and I don't know much about Thor in the first place, but this could be cool, so we'll see.

Are we forgetting what we are talking about here, it's friggin Thor for Christ's sake. A damn comic character, HHH has enough acting chops from the WWE to pull it off. Plus he has the charisma believable to be a Norse god. It's not like dude needs to be a damn thespian to play this role.

Besides, like someone said earlier, I don't see that current actor with that look playing the damn Norse god of thunder himself.

Even if not HHH, I could still pick out at least 5 guys that would be a better Thor. I like the Avengers poster.

Boltman is that the movie poster? Also I agree HHH is a good actor in the wrestling world and I think he can pull this part off big time.

Scott, supposedly, but now a days who knows really. I would think it is too early to have this leaked. I'm guessing it is a chop someone made on the interwebs.

But yes, HHH could most definitely pull it off. He would just have to work really hard with some coaches to speak with that accent whatever it is.

The biggest thing to need to have down he has already, and that is the look. The guy they chose is cool and all that. But damn, he looks to frail to be Thor, too pretty I mean.

                    Cap looks pretty good.

If that is what he is going to look like I think it looks bad ***! I agree HHH. I wish movie would follow the height and weights more. I think Jack did a great wolverine. But I would have like to see someone more the comic book size. But that is my pet peeve. Believe or not before he killed himself and his family. So sad, but I thought Chris Benoit would have made a great Wolverine. I was bum to not see him go for the part or at least been ask to try out for it. I think people need to realize that these WWF guys are pretty damn good actor. They fool me and thinking they hate each other, while in reality they all pretty much get a long. That is pretty good acting to me.

The thing about Cap is who they got for him. Chris would have been a good choice, if he wasn't already the Human Torch. I don't really like that move.

Look guys...maybe you've got short term memories but the simple fact is most of the best performances in "superhero" films have come from actors almost nobody liked in the casting phase (i.e. Keaton, Bale,Ledger). They were cast based on ACTING which goes a long way to explain why they did a better job than the masses expected.

Now I'm not bragging but I know better than most the level of performance needed in the wrestling world and it's no simple thing to stay in character while fatigued and getting stiffed but it's just simply not enough to hand a role over. HHH has not shown the acting chops in anything yet to think he could carry this film.

Sure, he's a damn near perfect physical match for it but that's just not enough.
