I think what the movie may be about from what I gathered from opinions on other websites and pretty much filled in the blanks/ I could be wrong so don't quote me on this, so here it "may" go.......A small group of kids go poking around Area 51 and maybe some alien follows them but the only way they are able to know this is from the super 8 photo. They are approached and ten somehow one of the children is mutated and hauled off against his/her will and the truck that so happens to plow into the oncoming train is no other than his/her pissed off dad. What we may didn't see is dear old dad jumping out before the train explodes with the truck and the wreck sends this child /mutant free on Ohio. I say Ohio because of the plates on the truck. Movie trailer crack/hackers have pointed this fact out. I believe that this person who is inside and yes it has to be one because if you freeze the trailer you see the face of a mad *** child......
