Everyone loves at least one song for a particular rhiff or segment of that song.

My favs are....

1. Pixies-Where is My Mind (the opening guitar rhiff).

2. Nirvana-Come as You Are (Great atmospheric guitar in the opening)

3. Metallica-Enter Sandman (Epic beginning)

4. Failure-Stuck on You (Best distorted piano to begin a song in history...and most folks think it's a guitar)

Start at about 1:30. When Dallas Green says "...screaming break me" at about 1:45, a heart beat sound comes in. Not necessarily a "rhiff," but it always gives me the chills.

I always liked the guitars in this song, especially at the beginning and once the music picks up after the first chorus at about 2:28. I was never a Brand New fan until I heard this song, despite being exposed to them countless numbers of times.

I really dislike the rest of this song, but the violins throughout are absolutely amazing. it's too bad the lyrics are stupid as hell.

The intro riff from that song inspired me to pick up guitar. That's how awesome it is. One of my favorite riffs of all time.

Also the opening 35 seconds.....one of the best intros for any song ever. For the Blackened video, the "segment" I go crazy for is between 5:13 and 5:25.
