My First Attepmt of a Sig.

This sig only took me about an hour, but I got the render fro the internet. Tell me what you think for a first crack at it plz. I thought it was pretty decent I guess, but I'm ALWAYS open to as much constructive criticism as possible. Anyways, here it is...

Also how do you put a "color screen" over an image? Something like this....

Look over Tebow's left shoulder. I wanted to do an effect like that on Gaints Stadium, but couldn't figure out how. Can anyone help out?

It is cool, but you can't have pictures in your sig. In case you didn't know.

Step by step on how to do that is to:

1- make the pain splash area.
2. make a new layer.
3- paste the stadium over that area and center it,etc.
4-cmd/ctrl click the layer of the paint splatter so that there is a selectiona round it.
5- go back and highlight the stadium layer
6- add a mask based on selection.
7 now you should have the stadium "within the paint splatter"
8- select the stadium layer cmd/ctrl click
9 -add a new layer
10- fill this layer with any color you want
11. at the top of the layer panel select "multiply" (mess around with multiply/screen/overlay) depending on how dark or light/saturated you want to the color to be. You can also multiply it and mess with the the transparency to make it lighter.

12-at this point you should be done.

Much better than my first sig...



If you want some CC though...it's over sharpened and a bit too busy. But as I said, it is fine, great for a first sig.

Man I remember the days of sig making







Man this stuff is 5 years old haha. I probably made 50 of them during my socom and ncaa league days. I got pretty good. Sigs are a great way to build skills into bigger art on photoshop
