Where to buy Blu Ray movies

I recently bought a blu ray player (I know, late to the party) and was wondering what are the best places online to buy Blu Ray movies. I ordered a few on Amazon (found some really good prices on there).

I usually get mine off of Amazon. Sometimes Wal-Mart has good ones for $10. Also watch the Best Buy weekly ad.

bluray.com is a good place to keep a track of price drops and deals if you use Amazon to shop.

Amazon is always a good starting point...free shipping on orders over $25 and no taxes. Plus, they usually price match Best Buy and Target's weekly ad prices.

Amazon.co.uk flies under the radar. Their blu rays are region free so they play in any blu ray player. prices on box sets are a lot of times cheaper than buying the same set here. I got the Godfather trilogy for $32 shipped.

gohastings.com is a good place for used blu rays. they have a flat shipping charge of $2.20 per movie but their prices are nice even with that. the scratch resistance makes buying used blu rays a nice option.

inetvideo.com is good when they have free shipping they are out of canada so most of their movies have bilingual covers. if you don't mind that, you can get movies that haven't been released to the states yet.

I buy a lot of movies/blu-rays on deepdiscount.com. They have awesome sales twice a year, used to be in July and November if I remember correctly.

For years, I only bougt Blurays at Amazon, because the store's prices were so much higher. However, now a days, you can often find good deals at Best Buy, and sometimes Target. Walmart's selection is generally very poor, at least at my local stores.

Sam's Club has all the older Bond movies for $10. Moonraker, Die Another Day, Goldfinger, etc.

Nice prices, but limited selection.

Buying blu's is a pretty simple game.

1. USED: Either buy from a 3rd party amazon seller or highdefdigest.com

2. NEW: Amazon is always beat (even if same price, you get it faster) by B&M's. Between Walmart (which you can print out and pm at BB) and Best Buy, Amazon is no longer a factor anymore.

Depends on how big of a purchase you are making, because you don't have to pay tax on Amazon. So if it's not something you want right away it's worth saving $5-10 to have it a week later.

Depends on how big of a purchase you are making, because you don't have to pay tax on Amazon. So if it's not something you want right away it's worth saving $5-10 to have it a week later.

Agreed. Across the board, Amazon's regular prices are cheaper than retail's regular prices. A lot of times, it just comes down to if you're willing to wait a few days for delivery vs. having it right then.
