Re: HGTV!
My wife and I are addicted to HGTV as well - especially when main network programming is out of season. When we built our house, we watched a lot of the shows to get different idea's and to know what to look for during the building process.
Holmes on Homes is my favorite (DVR this). I also enjoy Income Property (always seems to be on when I'm going to sleep on the weekends). I used to watch House Hunters as well, but haven't recently. I really enjoyed House Hunters International to see some of the houses people were looking to buy in exotic places across the World. There was a first time homebuyer show that I've seen a few episodes of, but I often got annoyed at how clueless some of these people were/are -

Re: HGTV!
Count me in. One of those guilty vices. Favorite shows are Divine Designs and House Hunters. Also like the show where they decide who got the best bang for their buck...3 competing room renovations.Comment

Re: HGTV!
Good call with divine design. I watch almost every show now. In fact it is this and Giants games is all I watch now. Bang for the buck show is great, because they always have something real nice. My favorites are when they look at the multi million dollars homes on House Hunters. Man, one day it would be nice to have a home like that. But that is a dream.Comment

Re: HGTV!
Damn House Hunters is the ish. I'm 20 and not gay but when I'm at my parents my mom always watches HGTV and the only reason I watch it is because it is probably the best HD channel to watch, it is so crystal clear its crazy. But when I go back home with my roommate I can never really watch it because its not a manly show and I don't want to take his crap.LA Angels

Re: HGTV!
I could watch a marathon of House Hunters for 5 hours straight! I find it interesting to see how much you can get for a certain house in a particular city.PSN: sportdan30

Every time I try to turn that channel on my Dish blocks me and a message pops up:
LOCKED!
YOU ARE UNDER 45 YEARS OLD AND MAY NOT VIEW THIS PROGRAM!
I thought it was weird too.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Anyways, can't say i'm a big fan of HGTV. Although i've never watched it. I thought the same about Discovery/History/etc. until I got sucked into shows about Nazi's, outer space, and all kinds of other silliness.Comment

Re: HGTV!
Give it a try Kearn and see what you think. Also, Day that is true. The older you are the more you will probably like this show. It is good clean TV which is nice for a change. Also, I agree the house hunter comment. I love to see what you can get at other places. Some places you get a lot of house for $300,000.Comment

Re: HGTV!
Do they show Renovation Realities on this network? Can't remember but I love that show. The one where the guy nearly buzzed his face off with a saw was hilarious/scary at the same time.
I like Property Virgins and Holmes on Homes as well.Currently Playing:

Re: HGTV!
Yep, they show that show too. I was looking up some info on Holmes. His show was canceled if 08. I am bummed. I thought I would be seeing some new ones. Even though they are all new to me. He is cool dude too. He did a lot of that work for cheap, to help the cost the owners got stuck with those bogus contractors. It makes me appreciate my dad more. He is a great contractor. So when I bought this fix up home. He did all the work for free and it was done right too. And wow this house I live in rocks now. We gutted every thing. From bedrooms, to bathrooms and kitchens and so on. And it only cost me about $50,000 for all the supplies.Comment
