It is the slowest day in sports. There are no pro sports games or any major college sports being played.

Anyways I will DVR this and probably watch it tomorrow.

Possibly literally the last thing I would watch on TV tonight. The ESPY's are HORRIBLE year after year. The awards are stupid, the athletes are mostly uninteresting or awkward. However...I do like Seth Myers, so maybe I'll catch the opening. He said some interesting stuff was going to be filmed a couple months ago on Simmons' podcast.

I think the ESPY's would be totally done away with if it wasn't for what apparenty are great after parties

Watching this now and Seth Myers was a little long in the tooth for me personally as some of his jocks just drug on forever. Not a huge fan of award shows as its nothing more then a bunch of insanely rich people schmoozing each other and then getting drunk at the after parties, no thanks.

I guess Im the only one watching this still but the fact that they gave record breaking performance to two guys who were average tennis players and couldnt put each other away over guys like Usain Bolt, Rodger Federer or Brett Favre is an incredible joke.

Did not know Janelle Monae was performing, otherwise I would have tuned in just for that. As it is, the wife and kids have strangleholds on the tvs right now so I'll have to catch a replay somewhere.

Very good and emotional story at the same time about the Football Coach from Iowa. His son did him proud with the speech about his father. I hope the many Superstar athletes listens to his message about having an impact in the communties.

This Will Ferrell skit is annoying but had one funny spot.
