    T-mobile's HSPA+

Too bad T-mobile has ZERO COVERAGE in Vermont.

Well, damn. I still think I'm going to leave T-Mobile and get an Iphone later this week. I'm still pessimistic about T-Mobile's future.

That's why a lot of people go to AT&T, but why the "sky is falling" attitude with T-Mobile? Their US branch is still making profits, this "3.75 G" competes with 4 g, and they are very strong overseas. If they did fold, do you realize how many of the other networks would cater to you for their business? And if they did you'd get plenty of notice.

Another thing is, the only reason I went to T-Mobile in the first place was to get the white g1. It's currently broken and even with checking on Craigslist, I'm having a hard time finding a replacement. Plus they don't make them anymore.

My mom wants to get rid of her Iphone, so I get a free phone, plus I can upgrade to the IP4 next summer using her upgrade. I don't like the myTouch (Iphone wannabe imo) or the myTouch slide, either.

Basically, these rumors (even if it's just that) were the final straw in me deciding to make the switch to the Iphone. It was something I had been thinking about once my g1 broke and good condition white g1's were few and far between.

The problem with T-mobile is that in the USA, they really aren't EVERYWHERE. They have no presence in Vermont, scarce present in Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut. Coverage is spotty at best in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconisn, Missouri, the dakatoas, Wyoming, Idaho, Nebreska. Hell most of the west coast is spotty at best.

If you live in a big city or close enough to a big city then yeah your signal will most likely be good.
