PC Gaming
My video card has slowly been dying and I am planning on getting a newer one this week. I am considering to start lightly gaming on the PC again.

i think its a good time to get a card since the 5000 series of ATI has been out for awhile now...you should get a good price for one... -

Re: PC Gaming
I game mainly on my console.....haven't really gamed on the PC in almost 10 years. Mainly due to how quick graphics cards became so obsolete in the past.
However you know eventually I will get back into PC gaming, since I love RTS games.Comment

Re: PC Gaming
If more games I liked were released on PC, I'd probably go with the PC more often than not, mainly for the mod support.PS: You guys are great.

Re: PC Gaming
I play FPS, RPG's, and games like Civilization on the computer. Sports games and action type games (ala Batman, God of War III) I find are better on consoles.
I chose to play Mass Effect and Dragon Age on my computer. I would get Batman: AA on the console though.Comment

Re: PC Gaming
I love my ATI Radeon 5850, I can play everything up to 1080p maxed out, even though the rest of my system is over 2 years old. I prefer gaming on PC because the games are usually cheaper and look better, I can also use my 360 controller for most games. I only play exclusives on their respective systems, God of War, Gears of War etc.Comment

Re: PC Gaming
I recently bought a refurbished Xbox system (not 360), so I like to play some older games on it. But I mainly play on my laptop, since it's my most powerful machine.
However, I hope to buy a PS3 sometime because I prefer playing on a next-gen console than on a PC. I just don't want to deal with all the system requirements BS anymore. Usually, consoles can play games for 5-6 years, while even the most powerful PC you buy today won't be able to play high demanding games 3-4 years from now on max settings. My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: PC Gaming
cant go wrong with Nvidia...i have no preference when it comes to cards BUT i hate the fact that Nvidia will be using physx as exclusives for some games...like MAFIA II which uses physx and since i have a ATI5870 i think i can live without the cloth and extra debris flying about...just as long its running smooth as silk and in high res im good
same here...i played RE5 and Batman AA on the PC using the 360 controller..i cant wait for SC2 next week!! see ya all in the battlefieldI love my ATI Radeon 5850, I can play everything up to 1080p maxed out, even though the rest of my system is over 2 years old. Re: PC Gaming
Don't bother with a 240. The GTS 250 is a decent card. The GTS 250 will be plenty to play Starcraft 2 at nice settings (assuming rest of comp is ok).
I played the SC2 beta with a 9800GT(weaker than a GTS 250) and it looked great. I did experience a little slowdown during large fights and so I ordered a GTX260.Comment

Re: PC Gaming
I will buy older games on PC. I have a 2 year old build consisting of a 8800gt and 3ghz core 2 duo(which was the exact recommended build for Bioshock 2). I hate that you can't trade them in so I wait until they are $20-$30 or there is a steam sale.Comment
