LOL, some of you guys get so excited with any negative criticism of a show that you watch. I like these series, but if an individual show falls short to me, I'll let you know about it. You want to be a cheerleader, that's OK. I'll be honest.

EDIT: Bruin, I'm about to post a positive review on the latest Smallville.
My latest Sons Of Anarchy post is negative.

By the way, it wasn't funny.
Funny is in the eye of the beholder. It's why Carlos Mencia had a job once. It's why Jiminy Glick ran for more than one episode. It's why Scary Movie is probably working on its 7th sequel and it's why Everybody Loves Raymond seems to air for 6 hours every single weekday. Some people find certain things funny. Some people don't. That's pretty much all there is to it.

I think they go over the top with Michael's stupidity quite often, but I thought Erin with the disposable camera was hilarious.

If there's something weird/random with Ryan, chances are that B.J. Novak wrote the episode. I looked it up on Wikipedia a while ago (no idea where else to see writing credits) and all the episodes where he seemed to be trying too hard to be different were written by Novak. Haven't checked for this week's episode.

...does anyone else know why this guy is a "star" of the show? For someone who is all over the DVD covers and promo art, he has little to no impact on the series as a whole. Always struck me as odd.

This elaborate Sweeney Todd bit would've been funnier 3 years ago. And yes, I realize it's not just a Johnny Depp movie but also a play.

Oh good. Sweeney Todd was the focal point of the episode.

I'm not a fan of this episode so far.

Although I kind of really want to watch the Sweeney Todd movie now. That movie rules.

Liked this episode alot. Better than the first two IMO. I like the Erin/Andy storylines.

For whatever reason, I can't bring myself to care about Erin/Andy.

Probably because we already did this story once with Jim and Pam. And it was done about 74 times better.

I thought it was a pretty good show tonight, but I'm a big fan of my comedies with heart.

Not bad but not great either. I'll tell you though, this show has legs left in it...

I liked the first two episodes better. I agree with 55 last night's wasn't bad but, wasn't that great either, IMO.

One of the big reasons I don't like the Andy and Erin relationship is because I just don't see the appeal in Erin. She's funny in her naivety but she has nothing beyond that whereas Andy is a truly funny and broad character at times.

It also seems to me like they're making Michael meaner this year to make the transition a little easier on themselves.

I was hoping Pam would start pranking Dwight. There was so much potential...

I lost it during the following scenes:

Jim and Pam sneaking a few rows down to get away from Michael
Passing around the bottle of wine Michael stole during intermission
                                Stanley snoring
Dwight at the end of the episode nearly crying in the crowd as Andy sang
