Really powerful song IMO, not something usually associated with Metal.

Really like Volumes they have some really emotional, deep song writing. Also been listening to Structures, Confessions, and some more traditional bands like Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage.

I hope Barbe is just a temporary thing. He opened up for them the last time I saw them and I didn't think he was that great. I wouldn't mind seeing Jason come back either, but he's doing his own thing and I'm not sure how amicable the split was in the first place.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hood and Cooley just split and did solo projects.

Well they already are doing their own thing on the side and I don't expect that to change. Hood said in a statement that there are plans to begin recording the next DBT album in the not too distant future, so I'm guessing we'll see another from them around 2013. The split between Isbell and the group wasn't a friendly one and them bringing in his ex made it even worse for a while. However the group and Jason have since made ammends and even played together on stage a couple of times, so there is the possibility. I think as long as there is no rush and they continue to allow Jason his freedom as well, it could work.

Yeah, Cooley does seem to be in a slump the last couple albums especially. His last GREAT song was Three Dimes Down. Isbell was great to have in the band, because it meant there were three great writers and singers and it took some pressure of Cooley. I didn't really think Shonna was all that great, even though the band loved her.
