Snap. I loved her on Rome. Well, I loved that whole album to be perfectly honest. Good pairing.Norah Jones Broken Little Hearts (Produced By Danger Mouse)

Re: What are you listening to?
Initially I wasn't too impressed with this effort. It gets better as the cd goes on, but the first half is a bit of a downer. Not talking about Rome by the way, but her new cd. That said, I like the Norah isn't sticking to a script musically.Comment

Re: What are you listening to?
I think Roger has finally come to realize his stupid mistakes. He looks really happy to be there. David Gilmour still rocks.

Re: What are you listening to?
Don't know about EVERY track, but the first 7 or 8 tracks are great indeed. After that, it falls off a bit. The last track worried me when I heard the opening, but once the guitar part kicked I was
and it made the entire song much better. Some people (usually the diehard Stripes fans) don't like all the piano, but I think it's one instrument that Jack is really good at playing. Maybe better than he is at guitar
. Just shows what a talented guy he really is though. Now if the Raconteurs would put out a new disc. Speaking of, has anyone heard Brendan Benson's new solo disc?

I love Jack in the Dead Weather too. He played the drums and also sang. I have not heard Brendan's new album. Good?Don't know about EVERY track, but the first 7 or 8 tracks are great indeed. Yeah. Not even close to true. He has basic piano skill. His guitar skill is anything but basic.Don't know about EVERY track, but the first 7 or 8 tracks are great indeed. After that, it falls off a bit. The last track worried me when I heard the opening, but once the guitar part kicked I was

Anyway, his solo album is good, but I'm not blown away by it.
Here's a friend of mine's band playing on Letterman. Still can't believe they're getting big, lol.
