Re: Songs you listen to but ashamed for others to know
I've got a Boyz II Men cd lying around here somewhere and just can't throw it away and I used to own a New Kids on the Block cassette when i was kid.
I also have to admit i often don't change the station when a pink song comes on as well.

Other than that i'm all hip hop and metal and all man.Comment

Re: Songs you listen to but ashamed for others to know
I'm not ashamed of what I choose to listen to sometimes. I will rock out to some Fergie, Cardigans, or TLC and not feel bad for it.
What my coworkers choose to listen to at work is a completely different story. If I'm ever caught buying a Theory of a Dead Man cd or any other Clear Channel 98 rock band I hope I am shot on site.

Re: Songs you listen to but ashamed for others to know
Don't know why anyone would be ashamed to listen to Boys II Men. They're great.
As fr myself, I wouldn't necessarily be ashamed, but I know I'd get some funny looks and "moist" comments if certain types of people knew I was partial to K-pop from time to time. I mean, I started out just looking at the girls, but the songs are so freakin' catchy.

If I Die Young - The Band Perry.
I have to listen to country for 12 hours a day at work and that is probably the only song I would have on my mp3 player from that country station (it's mostly top 40 garbage). I don't really feel bad about it but I've gotten some crap for saying that song is badass.Comment

I feel that guy from Harold & Kumar with saying, "There is nothing like a hot asian chick". I don't even pay attention to what they be saying and can careless, but I can watch asian chicks dance in their little school girl outfits all dayComment

Re: Songs you listen to but ashamed for others to know
Lol its not a race thing. It's more a "real men don't listen to R n B" feeling that many dudes over here have. I can just see the looks on their faces as I pull up in my car with 'End of the Road' blaring.Comment

Re: Songs you listen to but ashamed for others to know
Oh yeah......I forgot about that too down there..........Kind of funny in a way, how every country has a real men don't listen to this kind of thing. It's like where I live now in New England, people have that if you don't watch baseball your not a real man, when I lived in Chicago it was if you don't listen to rap your not a real man, when I lived in Europe it was like if you don't watch soccer your not a real man.
OR how can I forget in Europe, if you don't drive stick shift, your not a real man.Last edited by Gotmadskillzson; 08-09-2010, 02:42 AM.Comment

It happens here. If you don't listen cumbia, reggaeton or rock here you're rare. I'm not hidding that I listen R&B but I don't yell to everyone around me.Comment
