Yep I remember renting them and watching them. When I first got Cartoon Network they used to show the original Fantastic Four cartoon. While not a Marvel cartoon from that era, the original Johnny Quest was also great.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

GOAT, in my opinion. The art, soundtrack and stories were kick-a***. A cartoon where characters actually died. You couldn't do that today.

Damn, awesome find. I watched these shows with a passion back in the day
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

Ya, the Spidey and FF toons were from a different, slightly later era. The others were part of the MMMS and used more pan and zoom of still images you already saw in the comic books. It was actually pretty lazy animation, but there was nothing like it. Johnny Quest was very unique... but you just never knew about that Race Banner.

Did you watch the originals? I watch reruns in the 70's. I loved those shows big time.

I always thought Race was Johnny Quest when I first starting watch it. It seem like Race was the bad *** of the Show, something I thought Quest would be. I was really shocked to find out it was the boy.

Johnny Qwest comes on every single night on bomerang

Once in awhile the fantastic four (that version comes on)

but... yeah I still get to see old stuff from back when, even watch spiderman and his amazing friends quite a bit. They always show the old stuff

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends gets aired at 3am on Monday mornings on Disney XD here and I like the show but my God has it aged horribly, somehow its much more dated than anything from the 1960's or any of the Hanna-Barbera stuff from that period.

I wish I got Boomerang, for whatever reason I get Boomerang On-Demand but not the main channel. I'd love to watch some old school Johnny Quest (or the newer one from the 90's which also ruled), Fantastic Four, and stuff.

I have the original Spiderman cartoon from the 60's. The music alone was worth the purchase. With it came the original Thor Cartoon and the Namor the Submariner. I also have the original Justice league cartoons. With Flash,Kid Flash, Green Lantern, The Atom and Superman. I love the old school cartoons both DC and Marvel.

I too loved the old Johny quest cartoons. Some of my other favorites were the Herculoids (not to be confused with Kool DJ Herc and the Herculoids, Coke la Roc, DJ Clark Kent etc...) with Zok(the flying Dragon) and Igoo (the rock monster I think),and Dungeons and Dragons with that little Dungeon Master guy, those were very good as well.
