Slyvestor Stallone makes movies you want to see over and over

so after watching The Expendables i want to see it again i really enjoyed it.. it had me thinking he has like a personality where you enjoy watching and keep wanting to see his movies over and over it doesnt really becoming boring.

i was going through the list of movies hes MADE and i just wanted to share.

Driven ( sucked but the parts he was in was really funny and cool )

The only series he ever made that I watched more then once was Rambo series. I never was a huge fan of Stallone. Now the movies I can watch all day every day are the following:

Blade series
Heat
Hackers
Tombstone
Hunt for Red October
Troy
The Patroit
Braveheart
Pitch Black series
Fast & Furious series
Friday series
Barber shop
The Rock
Arthur
Platoon
Navy Seals
Executive Decesion

Props for having Hackers on there, that's my ****. Antitrust is a similar movie I can watch over and over as well.

I don't care how cheesy Hackers is, I can watch that anytime...

Hunt for Red October is a great one. One of my coworkers has her text messages to be a sonar ping alert. When she forgets to put it on vibrate we'll get a random ping in the office. 3 or 4 of us immediately scream "Dive! Dive!" and "Give me one single ping!" lol

I can only agree with you on the Rocky series, specifically 1-3. I really like Sly and think he has great presence, I just rarely like anything he's in.

If you want a little Stallone nostalgia, check out a movie he did before Rocky, The Lords of Flatbush...... he and Henry Winkler!

I think his remake of Get Carter was pretty good if a bit laughable at times. Overall though, I found that he did that movie in earnestness and at least it kept me invested in the characters unlike the original Michael Caine version which I watched in full but didn't really get into.

Over The Top was always one of my favorite Stallone movies

Even with it's bad wig (Brigette Nelson) and cheesy acting, Cobra is still one of my all time favorites. I think i've seen that movie at least 10 times and I'm not normally one to watch movies over and over like that. It gets no better than the motorcycles on the horizon scene as they are approaching the motel where Stallone & Nelson are staying. LOL

I'm a big Stallone fan. A lot of people give him slack for being unintellectual, but if you listen to most of his interviews, he's on his game.

One of my favorites he has done is Copland. I thought he did a quality job acting in that one.

Rocky and First Blood are two movies I like to pop in and watch. They just don't get old for me. Call me weak, but I cry at the end of the Apollo fight in Rocky every time. Between him going nuts screaming out "Adrian" and her running to the ring, it just does me in.

In fact, Rocky is more about a man's pride in wanting to take care of his family and doing what he thinks he does best to get it.

Rocky is my favorite movie of all time. its a shame it gets dismissed as a "boxing movie". its so much more than that. I've probably watched that movie a good 60 times. the score and soundtrack are equally as dope.

Rambo first blood and Copland are also great.

I can watch First Blood, Rambo Pt. II and Rocky I-IV (although II is a bit draggy) any time and get sucked in. Love those movies. Same goes for any of Arnold's 80's action films, Die Hard and the original Star Wars trilogy.

I love all the Rocky movies (except V). I could watch those all day long.

Same with the Rambo series.
