Has anyone ever made an iPhone app?

Has anyone ever made an iPhone app? Me and my buddy have an idea for one, and we know 100% it hasn't been done yet(it's not a sex facts/tips app). He runs a pretty successful website for the content we want to push, so it would just be getting content he already has into the app.

    How complex would this be?

How is apple when it comes to pushing new content to your app? We would have to have new content going to it daily as it comes to us.

With two different resolution screens, how does this factor in when making the app? Do you have to design something for each?

We would need to have literally 1,000+ pages. It's gonna be an app to look up schedules for the sport of the website we run. Would this even be possible?

Apple is kind of picky and strict when it comes to their apps. They should have information on their website about designing apps for them. All I know is that it is a long process and a lot of paper work got to be filed with them.

Where as with android......anybody and their mama can make an app and have it out on the market place hours later. It is a guy from this site that made an app for apple, forgot his name though.

You wouldn't think so with how many apps of the same type our out there. There is at least 50 different phone trackers that charge you $0.99 and are fake.

Sign up for www.macrumors.com's forums and ask over there. Gazillion developers over there and it's not a ton of paperwork but there is a developer fee.
