I swear, I never thought Hale would be taken out. He seems like such an important part of the story. I'm assuming he's dead.. all signs lead to it.

I think he's dead too. From the looks of the mangled noggin he should be. If so, I think SOA is the first series that I've seen where a main character was knocked off in the first episode of a season. Talk about unpredictable... Wow.

well another FX original, The Shield, killed off a character in the very first episode of the series who they had been billing as a main character during the promos... that one was a huge shocker

WOW. My thoughts were "good episode, nothing great, but a nice setup to the season", and then all hell breaks out. I see Cebby got to 24 before me (the only time 24 made me scream "holy ****, I didn't see that coming" outside of the 1st season, was S6E1). Damn man, I loved Hale...such a great foil to SAMCRO. No doubt he's dead, the closeup on the crushed skull proves that.

I thought Maggie Siff (Tara) was the MVP of the episode, such a great performance by her. The scenes of her destroying the nusery, and the talk with Jax of her belonging in Charming, just magnificent.

So glad Chuckie is back, he's so damn funny. Looked like a flesh wound to me, "you just won't die" to steal a line from Clay.

My guess, the drive-by was the Mayans.

Glad Sack got his patch....and I can't wait for next Tuesday!

I don't agree that you should have to use them after a show has aired on the west coast, but people freak out, so might as well just do it.

I don't recall us ever requiring spoilers for shows as they air/after they air, just for scenes from the previews and thoughts/theories as to what may happen in case people don't want to see anything.

So don't worry about recapping the episodes in spoiler tags. If someone who hasn't seen the episode sees that the thread has moved 10-15 posts since the episode aired on the east coast and come in and have something spoiled for them, it's their fault in my opinion. Use some common sense.

So, just put upcoming scenes/commercials/previews in spoiler tags as well as what you think might happen. But don't worry about talking about the episode that just aired. That's fair game.
