Is there a movie you never seen but most people have ?

You ever get to talking about something with people and somebody make a reference to a movie that came out years ago and you don't get it because you the only one out of the group who never seen that movie ?

For example with my wife.......she never seen Cold Mountain, so when I said man that guy at the gas station look just like that fat guy from the movie who was singing that song, everybody who heard me knew exactly what I was talking about and said oh yeah he does.

My wife on the other hand was like huh ? Truth be told before my wife met me, she rarely watched movies, so it is a ton of movies she never seen.

up until yesterday it was avatar. the concept seemed interesting to me but i never really got around to watching it since i never had the time but i would say now that i have seen it i can say it was one of the best movies i have ever seen

Same here. Funny thing is, I'd probably enjoy them, and I already know basically the plot to most of them through popular culture. Yet, I haven't gotten around to seeing any of them.

I've never seen the Godfather movies. I've never seen Avatar. We even have Godfather Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 and Avatar on DVD at the house. I just haven't had any desire to see them to this point.

I've never seen any LOTR movies. That's just not my type of movie from what I understand. I'm really not into fantasy.

That's it for me. I know I wouldn't really like any of them, not really into sci-fi. Most people can't believe me when I tell them that, as I am a huge movie guy, just have no interest in the Star Wars movies.

Indiana Jones series
Lord of the Rings series
Harry Potter anything
Matrix sequels

I want to watch the Godfather, but aside from that, I don't really have any desire to see these movies. Freakin Star Wars I practically know inside and out just because of the pop culture focus it's gotten (Family Guy/Robot Chicken episodes mainly, those go deep), feel like I've already seen them.

So that means you didn't watch any of the Star Trek tv shows, Xena, Hercules, Twilight movies, Buffy tv shows, Heros, Xmen, Fantastic Four, etc ?

Pirates of the Caribbean Series (thought the first one was horrible and turned it off half way through)
Harry Potter Series (will watch eventually as I enjoyed the books last summer)
E.T.
Indiana Jones Series (except for Raiders of the Lost Ark and wasn't impressed)
Twilight Series (never, ever, ever...)
James Bond Films (except for Casino Royale which I thought was great)
The Sound of Music
Jaws
Gone With the Wind
Ben-Hur
The Sting (I have no idea what this is even about?)

ehhhhh I hate Ben-hur.....growing up every year around Easter Ben Hur and The Ten Commandments came on regular tv and my dad always watched it. Each movie is like freaking 4 or 5 hours long a piece....
