    HDMI vs. DVI?

    Is DVI better,equal or worse?
I got a new moniter to go with my new computer that I'm still waiting for and it turns out the moniter only has DVI and VGA. I already conclueded it's better than VGA but was wondering how it compares to HDMI. I didn't bother checking if it had a HDMI port because it's a LED moniter so just figured it did but it doesn't.

About the same. DVI is really the daddy of HDMI.

You probably won't be able to tell a difference.

Agree with everyone else. HDMI and DVI are passing digital signals. Shouldn't be able to tell a difference. The advantage of HDMI is that it handles digital video and digital audio all in one cable.
