yeah I disagree, I actually enjoyed the first show. As for the series, it really picked up as it went on and I would love to see it come back for a second season. Although I was a little disappointed with the resolution of the big plot in the final episode, it seemed a bit anti-climatic.

For me, the 2nd to last episode was fantastic (which in turn made the finale seem less inspired)

FX canceled it today.... Really sad to see it go, but I can't fight it after reading those numbers.

I bought into the hype from Sepinwall and I'm disappointed. I recently finished watching the series but I didn't enjoy it. I probably should have bailed after the first 3 episodes but I stuck around hoping it would get better but it never did.

I liked the characters and setting but the show wasn't interesting or exciting.

I forgot I even created this thread.

I never even finished out the season, either. I was browsing Netflix and I see they have added it too their instant-streaming. I may check it out, one day, but I've got so much other crap on my plate It may be a while..
