Lingerie Football League on MTV2

[NEOPARADIGM]

So I'm watching this stuff on MTV2; at first I just think it's something closer to Viva La Bam than to "real" football, and for the first 10 or 15 minutes I was pretty much just laughing at how "cute" it was.

Then as I watched a bit longer, all of a sudden I found myself more and more impressed and interested.

Silly, sexist me - the football action is surprisingly good. Fact of the matter is these girls play hard and they play serious.

After the initial shock value wears off, what's left is hot little butts running all over the field looking awesome, with the bonus of some pretty intense football action.

If they were serious about women playing football then they'd wear actual uniforms rather then objectifying themselves.

Though, I admit if I were to ever run into it on the TV dial i'd probably watch for a few minutes.

Well those leagues do exist, but as bgeno said, no one really watches. They'll probably never get any tv time. Women's sports just never really catch on when they are the actual sport.

That's true and it's a bit disheartening in a way. At least the WNBA has a niche market and the LPGA up until a couple years ago was pretty viable mainly due to Annika (sp?) Sorenstam.

Lingerie football been around for decades......it all started as a superbowl halftime show thing they ran, just like how the puppy bowl started.

The reason why actual woman sports fail so bad is because the women in actual women sports look like men and are not attractive at all.

I mean seriously, how many men go around saying hey did you catch that WNBA game last night ? Or did you catch that women semi pro football game last weekend ? Or how many men watch women body building competitions ?? Or women logging competitions ? Or women fishing tournaments ?

Or how many men you see chasing after women truck drivers ????

I don't think it has much to do with attractiveness. Thats a part of it, but I think its more women not watching this stuff. I mean if womens softball or womens hockey was ultra popular you'd see it at times other than the olympics, those girls can play, women just don't sit down and watch it. So that leaves these girls with no choice but to do stuff like lingerie football, lmao.

Who cares, let them put at least some tights or something on and some fitted jersey's! They have to be all out naked like that....and lets just see them bash each other then.

One girl almost got her panties ripped off in the middle of the endzone....then it would have been porn. Not interested in crap like that. If its a sport let it be sports like. With out all the none sense nudity!
