I love this show and it never gets old for me. I am disappointed Raj got eliminated, because he was hilarious. Although he was by far the worst chef there, he was great entertainment.

yeah I liked last year...I didn't watch the 2 or 3 seasons before...I also like master chef, but why on earth did they end a "season" and then start a new one a month later

I think I watched every HK episode from season 2 (maybe it was 3) until season 8. Not that it was ever an amazing cooking competition, but it's gone way downhill. I enjoyed MasterChef, too. After the first episode or two when they were doing the stuff to see who they would take, I didn't think I'd enjoy it, but I stayed with it and really liked it.

I don't know if you ever watch Top Chef, but an all-start season recently started if you didn't see it. They picked two or three people from every season to come back and compete against each other (the good chefs, not the bad ones). Third episode was tonight I believe.

I watched the whole season, there just wasn't much to talk about in this thread to keep it alive. I'm just glad Russell didn't win. What an arrogant S.O.B. he was.

This was the first season I watched it and I started when there were about 8 people left I think. When it got down to 6, me, my brother and sister in law drafted 2 players each and had a bet for who won. I had Russel and Jillian. I wanted Russel to win for the bet, but he was just to damn arrogant for his own good. I think this last episode is what really won it for Nona, she showed she could run the kitchen which she had NOT done before IMO.

I agree with most of this. When this season started Russ was one of the guys I said could win it. At that final dinner service I was like WTF is he doing. For all his attemps to be like Ramsey I don't recall Gordon getting into shoving matches. Russ lost this by acting llike that was the first time hr had ever been given any power over people in the kitchen.

I wouldn't mind seeing a season where all the winners come back and face each other. Most of them are not affiliated with the restaurant they won the head chef slot with anyway.
