Running Wilde (From the people that brought you Arrested Development)

Stars Gob, I mean Will Arnett and Keri Russell (who I kind of forgot was alive and who is still ridiculously good looking).

I'll watch anything with Arnett in it. Anything. And the fact that there's a couple of Arrested producers involved only sells me more.

Premieres tonight at I believe 9:30 ET on Fox.

Anybody know why the show isn't being brought back? The cult following is huge from what I understand. Fox did it with Family Guy. Why can't they do it with AD? I need more Buster and Tobias in my life.

I'll give it a chance. I'm really picky with my comedies now (can't stand most of the new "classics" from Judd Apatow, Seth Rogan, et al.) but AD was truly the pinnacle of TV comedy and Will Arnett is hilarious.

I'm giving it a chance but I don't have the highest of hopes for this one. I mean it could be good given the pedigree. Even if it is good it doesn't seem like something that will appeal to enough people and stick around.

Tepid reviews so far from what I'm seeing. I'll give it a fair shake. Had I given up on 30 Rock after the Pilot I'd have missed out.

I was higher on this yesterday when I made the thread.

I think Will Arnett is hilarious, but I don't see him being able to carry a whole show by himself. The genius behind AD was that the characters worked so well with each other and there were enough characters that you didn't really get tired of anyone on the screen.

They went to the Arrested Development well really quick.

Re: Running Wilde (From the people that brought you Arrested Development)

It's not quite over yet, but I'll throw out what I think anyways.

Pretty good. Not great. Yet. I see a lot of potential now that the plot's set up. That's what pilot's tend to struggle with, being plot heavy. I definitely see this being a very funny show very soon.

I don't know if it was the background music, Will Arnett, or the David Cross cameo, but there were times when I could've sworn I was watching Arrested Development, which was probably intentional.

The little girl narration combined with the sort of off-the-wall plot has me a little underwhelmed/off-put... we'll see where it goes I guess. Pilots normally suck and are almost always awkward, this one was no exception.

I actually enjoyed it. Laughed out loud when David Cross's character couldn't remember what his package was and why he didnt have enough postage.

It had some funny moments. Like moving the tribe into the hotel. But some parts were stupid, not funny. The main actor is funnier in his role on 30 Rock. I'll give it another week or two though.

I thought it was pretty damn hilarious myself. Too early to tell if it will become a favorite, but I'll definitely watch it again next week.
