Re: Saturday Night Live
I use to tune in specifically for the Weekend Update but it's just not the same without Seth Myers. I love Cecily Strong but I don't even want to know who the other guy's name is.--
Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Mike O'Brien's future is unclear, but half of the newcomers from last year are already gone. I'd guess Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney are safe - they seemed to get a lot of airtime last season.Comment

Re: Saturday Night Live
I read an article with Colin Jost about Update this season, so I guess he's still doing it. I'd go with Beck Bennett, purely because I'd like a more deadpan Weekend Update and we know from the AT&T commercials (and his youtube stuff) that he can do that.
I just want less of the "punchline and smirk" delivery that we've had with Tina Fey, Fallon, Amy Poehler and Seth Myers over the past however many years.Comment

Damn. I liked the new people.
Sent from my mobile device."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I think it's the end of the road for the horribly underused Nasim Pedrad. She's starring in former SNl writer John Mulaney's show, Mulaney on Fox in the fall.Comment
