Brooke/Claire are one of my favorite teams of all-time. Both of them are so positive all the time, it makes it easy to root for them. I think they have a chance to be the first female team to win TAR.

... not to mention easy on the eyes as well ...

here's a couple of tips for anyone that every makes it on the amazing race

1) Learn how to rappel and get real good at it, it's on every season
2) Know the damn rules and what each thing does ... only one team may do the FF (how the Vegas couple has managed to stay in the race is beyond me)

I wish last night wasn't a non-elimination leg. Nick & Vicki so deserve to be eliminated. They show no panic, they don't rush or anything, they just move in slow motion. No urgency about them at all.

yeah, but as they both said last night, i really think nick learned a life lesson in ghana and has applied it, so kudos to him for that ... their big mistake was switching twice, a huge no-no.

edit: unlike that a$$hat chad who really needs to learn to respect and listen to stephanie ... he can hit the road anytime ... she can stay for as long as she wants.

Last weeks episode was a non elimination leg, so why wasnt there an extra challenge for Nick and Vicki this week?

Or does that not apply all the time?

^^^I think they probably figured that they were at such a mental disadvantage already that giving them an extra task would be unfair.....

I searched and found out CBS made an error that ended up making them last. Maybe it wasn't even a non elimnation round to begin with but they saw the mistake and made it one anyways to keep them in.

For those wondering, this week during The Amazing Race 17, you may have noticed that Nick and Vicki didn’t have to do the speed bump, despite finishing last the previous week. This was due to an error with the sheet music challenge, where they were actually correct much earlier than given credit for, so they were not forced to do the speed bump. It likely would have been a 10 min sitting on bench penalty or something lame, and the error last week most likely cost them well more than 10 minutes. It would have been nice if they clued us in.

Yes, they should have said something, I know several people who have sworn off the show, already questioning the validity of the show with all the time shifting and other editing tricks, this just convinced them it was fixed.

I'm not going to lie, there have been many times that I have wondered if the fix was in with this show and Survivor.

For the Amazing Race it pretty much goes back to Flo and Zach. They were literally a day behind because of her temper tantrums and wanting to quit. Next thing you know, they are back even, and the final show just seemed shady that season.

But that said, I still find it entertaining.

Yeah what a screw up that was! On top of that they have a 6 hour penalty. More than likely they are done for.

Not so fast.....Here is where you will see that people claim the show is rigged. I can almost guarantee there will be some task that doesn't start until the morning and everyone will magically catch up.

They should be DQ'd. Non-elimination should only occur if you are x amount of time from the last place team. You shouldn't be able to just quit and move onto the next phase.

Seriously in season 3 I think the team that won it was 24+ hours behind because Flo cried and threw temper tantrums and quit. Then there was a catch up, they got in the fastest cab and they were $1 million richer.

I'm not a conspiracy theory guy but I do believe the Producers screwed over Romber in Season 7. If the plane magically didn't turn around, Romber would have won since they would have had a several hour advantage over Uchenna and Joyce. There also would have been no suspense to the ending of the show.

It stinks that Nick and Vicki are still in the race but I believe the remaining teams will get bunched up so they can a more exciting finish.

BTW it looks like next season is a all-stars edition.
