Re: Prime Time Network Television Ratings (Will Your Show Survive?)

    Sunday November 22, 2010 - Broadcast Primetime

The American Music Awards was down 22% from last year. Its 4.3 with 18-49 adults is the lowest ever for the broadcast.

However, it did have a 12% increase in teens and 19% in kids 2-11.

    Today's music.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

Reminds me of another show that Fox tried to slot into its Animation Domination last year: Sit Down Shut Up. That one lasted four episodes on primetime before being cast off into midnights.
