      Well, were you taught how to do so? I mean would they ask you based on the fact that it's something you could have acquired based on class material, or are you being credited for stuff you might have already known how to do in the past?

      ... or does he expect you to Google it?

      Explaining how to do an illegal action is against the TOS, yes. Google will probably be your best friend here. Just remember... if Google can't help you, then you're **** out of luck my friend.

        I'm not a hacker but I'd think you could google for some guides and learn what the basic tools the hackers use to get through WEP. Doubt it'd be too bad.

        *edit* a quick search revealed some guides and listed the various tools (stuff to get data, stuff to crack, etc) so you should be good to go.
