Anyone Remember "Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics" That Used To Play On Nick?

Some of you might be too young to remember this show but it used to play on Nickelodeon back in the early 90s. Me, my bro and my sis used to watch it all the time. It bring's back memories.

Anyone know where I can buy the complete set on DVD or Blue Ray? I want to buy it for my 4 year old kid. I tried looking at amazon and can't find it at all.

Also u guys remember David the Gnome? That show was the ****.

HELL YEAH!

I believe Grim's wasn't on Nick, it was on one of the major networks (NBC, CBS, ABC) and came on only Saturdays. If i recall correctly, those were some really morbid and dark cartoons too. One villian lady was turned into a donkey and it was infered she was beaten and worked to death, and in another I recall an evil mom killing some young girls good luck pet fish and eating it.

David the Gnome lol I just remember the hats. And the ogres. Oh and the Swift the Fox; I remember wanting a fox sooo bad after that show.

I've been looking for Doug on DVD with no luck; possibly my favorite show as a kid/young teen.

Grimm's was on Nick. Well it was where I live in the Seattle area. Man those shows bring back memories.

Grimm's has to be in my top 5 all time favorite cartoon series.

When I was 7 or 8 I use to remember the lyrics to both theme songs.

Definitely a Nick show. I still find myself humming that intro randomly without really thinking about it. That, and The Little Prince even though I didn't like that show. Don't know where you would find dvds though.

I actually didn't like any of these shows. I hated them to be honest. I remember them because I used to watch cartoons during slow days during the summer or when I was sick and back then, Nickelodeon was your best bet for animation during the day. Every now and then TBS or TNT would show an animated movie during mid-day but for the most part we were stuck with Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. lineup.

TBS and TNT would show Looney Toons in the evening but of course by that time, other channels including Nick were showing their best stuff as well, like Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, GI Joe and what have you.

Haha, that was before they streamlined their slime. It used to look like lime green grits with chunks of God knows what in it.

The only game show I liked was Wild and Crazy Kids. I really wanted to be on that show. Whenever I watch Omar Gooding in a role I always laugh remembering him from that show.

Lol, I forgot all about Noozles and Wild and Crazy Kids... I too used to really love the latter. Good times.

Oh, and bcruise, I watched all those game shows too. Seriously, Nickelodeon used to be WAY better.

One more thing too... I just now, all these years later, realized that Omar Gooding was the same guy in Playmakers... which in turn made me realize he's Cuba Gooding's brother. Lol, funny the people you remember when you go back and watch all this old stuff.
