Not that I expected anything different from Satch. He's been King for quite a while.

He's good, but I can't listen to his stuff for more than an hour or so at a time.

Good thing his new album checks in at under an hour

Check it out. I'm really digging the first track.

          This.

It seems like he has put the same album out about 15 times now.

Why, because every cd features guitar and little to no vocals ? Granted, he has found a formula that works for him and pretty much stuck to it since Crystal Planet. However, he's still more creative than most guitarists out there. Considering how long he has been doing what he's doing, I'm happy with his new material.

Hmm, it's January 16 in LA. I don't have anybody to go with though, none of my friends are interested in his music.

I knew Joe when I was a kid. He was my brother's guitar teacher, so I have always like his playing. He taught me smoke on the water intro when I went to practice with my brother. So any time he plays around here I try to go to his concerts. He is a strange guy, but one hell of a guitar player.
