I'm glad I was unspoiled about Jane Badler being on the show, it made that ending a great surprise for me.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever. -
Re: V: Visitors Season 2 Discussion Thread
The first episode of the season was well done. The pace is so different from the original series that at times it does stink, but I'm trying to look at it from another perspective. I hope that Diana is a regular for the rest of the season, it would be cool to see some of the old actors back.
I'm hearing that
SpoilerMarc Singer is going to be appearing in later episodes too. So that will be a treat. I wonder what role he will play.
Plus this time slot should hopefully work better for them.Comment

Ouch! I really hope they let this show play out the rest of the season and do not do any mid-season cancellations. It did better than the other 2 shows it was sandwiched between.

The Visitors of V found as many 18-49 viewers on their return as they had when the last left us last May, while Biggest Loser premiered down sharply from last January’s debut.
On ABC, V’s 2.1 adults 18-49 rating was the same as its season finale episode on 5/18/10. That doesn’t bode well for The Visitors continuing stay on television. (although that turned out to be better than our reader poll anticipated) Earlier, No Ordinary Family’s 1.9 rating was even with its last original episode on 12/7/10. That’s not going to save the show. Detroit 1-8-7 drew a series low 1.2 adults 18-49 rating on its way to the television boneyard.Comment

Just sad. Because there is some very horrible crap people are just glued to on TV like sheep that air every year.
Of course the biggest TV travesty was Fox's blunder of Firefly! I will never forgive them for what they did.

Re: V: Visitors Season 2 Discussion Thread
I know as they will keep churning out reality show after reality show just because it is cheap to produce. I always hope when a quality show comes out it can get buy it's first season which is sad. As nowadays they don't seem let shows build an audience over time. Look at the X-Files it took a couple of seasons before it really started to take off. I do hope V does continue because it is a fine show."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: V: Visitors Season 2 Discussion Thread
This is one of the reasons why I refuse to watch any TV shows on FOX anymore. Some of their shows last a few episodes or will go into season two and then get canceled. I hate investing time like that only for a good show to get canned. Hopefully V can stay in that 2.0 range so that way it can still have hope. Tuesday night has been bad for ABC for sometime now considering nothing has been doing good in their 7-9 slots. Let's hope this sticks around, its a good concept that needs just a little bit more action."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: V: Visitors Season 2 Discussion Thread
The mistake they made last season is when there was no fighting/action like in the original mini-series/tv show. You would think they would have learned for this season to amp that up a bit. I won't say too much until we are a few episodes in. Hopefully there is some action in the upcoming epis to hook those in with low attention spans. I don't where the show is going at all since its interesting and I loved the original, but some action wouldn't be bad either. It's like Anna is talking this badass game that she is going to take out everyone, yet there is no army to prove it. It makes the show almost feel low budget in some ways since you only ever see maybe 20 visitors at a time. In the original, they had soldiers upon soldiers, like in Star Wars with all the damn stormtroopers making it look like there is a battle to be fought. LOL!Comment

The Visitors Revealed
The aliens from V have evolved. And they have a plan.
This isn't your grandpa's Visitor!
USA Today has scored the first truly detailed look at the aliens from ABC's V... a glimpse which would seem to confirm that the nasty critters walk on four legs. (And if you don't want to be spoiled on the look, click away from this page now.)
Of course, usually the Visitors appear much nicer visually speaking -- like, Morena Baccarin nice. But this is their true form underneath their false "human" skin.
"What I like about it is it doesn't look like any particularly recognizable species," says Baccarin, who plays the queen bee of the Visitors. "It's like a conglomeration of all these different lizard types. It even looks prehistoric. There's something like a T. rex about it, with a lizard mixed with a Komodo dragon."
The Visitors' true look will slowly be revealed over the 10-episode second season, which just kicked off last night. The full design will finally show up in the season finale.
"There is a reason the creature I ended up wanting to design looks familiar in many ways and unfamiliar in many ways," executive producer Scott Rosenbaum says. "Throughout the season, you'll be seeing exactly what the Visitors look like underneath, and while some of it will be explained as to why they look the way they do ... if you look close enough and study it, you can sort of figure out what the Visitors have been doing throughout the course of history in the universe. Answers to that are revealed literally in [their] physical nature."SpoilerLast edited by CaptainZombie; 01-05-2011, 07:24 PM.Comment

eeeeeeekkkkkkkk
V dropped 10% from its premiere to a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating, but No Ordinary Family dropped 21% to a 1.5 rating. Detroit 1-8-7 dropped 0.1 to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.Comment
