Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
Leave It To Beaver was well before my time as well, but I did grow up watching reruns of that show and liked it as a kid. I also remember her as the voice of Nanny on the Muppet Babies cartoon back in the 80s which I did watch on its initial run. No matter what though, I will always remember her most for that awesome scene in Airplane!Comment

Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
I have vague memories of watching them first run around 1961 0r 1962, but they didn't seem to be rebroadcast them much after the 60's. On Mother's Day of 1995 TBS used Barbara Billingsley's favorite episodes (10 I think) for a mini marathon and then TV Land started running them shortly after that. TV Land doesn't show them anymore. About 95% of all the episodes are now available as streaming content on Netflix.Comment

Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
She was great, and Leave it to Beaver was one of my favorite shows.
R.I.P to such a cool lady...She's now with other Angels...many prayers and blessings to her family. I hope her kids and grand children can handle this loss.Comment

RIP.
Leave it to Beaver was classic. Ward died a long time ago and I bet Larry Mondello can't be far behind.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
Actually, I just found a site that Whitey was in rehab in 1995 and was clean 2 weeks later. He died in 2003 while in surgery on his intestine for a hernia.
The drugs and alcohol might have been a contributing factor, not sure.Last edited by roadman; 10-19-2010, 11:08 AM.Comment

Yeah, but is the character who played Mondello obese now? We don't know that.

Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
Haha, me too.
I didn't find Porn Star, the only thing I found was The Leave it to Beaver Reunion in 83.
There is another Rusty Stevens, though, like fistofrage noted. Yewww.Last edited by roadman; 10-20-2010, 09:15 AM.Comment

Re: RIP Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver)
Brought up in one of the obits was the fact that the show was cancelled because the actors wanted to move on. This surprised because LITB never hit the Top 30 in any of it's seasons (I recall it's best rating being #32). Of course in those days you could be just outside of #30 and still have ten million viewers.Comment
