The Harmony-1 is a helluva remote. I've had mine for about 2 years & have no complaints.
If there's a deal going on jump on it.

Re: Black Friday 2010
Yeah, I am also just wondering about the remote now even though they have their wedding next October, but who knows if I'll find a better Harmony deal before that (since Black Friday obviously won't pop up again). Don't know what ya'll think.
Are there any other big advantages to the Harmony One that justifies spending $100 more on it than the 650? I assume it fits in your hand more comfortably and such, but I also want to make sure that the 650 will be able to handle their Roku box, for example.
Note: The Dongle from this remote will allow the Harmony to control the ps3 (everything except turn it off) http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Wave-Infr...0732643&sr=1-1
Get it used. Much cheaper than the logitech adaptorLast edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 11-25-2010, 08:52 PM.Comment

I don't know what you pay for rent, but I think this is a good deal. It'd run 2K11 no prob.Comment

Want to go from this
to this
Why? the 2nd is 100 bucks cheaper, and bigger (not that 26 inches is bad)
Only thing is I have to try to get to Frys while they have some left
What do ya think after seeing the specs which are similar in certain areas?Comment

Just left Wal Mart here in West Chester, Oh and it was a "CIRCUS" It had to be at least 30-40 customers per line and every register was open. I could not believe what I walked into. Lol!!
Was able to scoop up a couple of Blu Rays and Killzone2 for the PS3. Be warned West Coast midnight Black Friday shoppersThe poster formerly know as "FLIGHTWHITE"Comment

Re: Black Friday 2010
Last time I do the midnight Black Friday run at Walmart. Ghetto fabulous. Stuff on palettes and placed with no rhyme or reason. Maybe 2 of the people working the floors had a clue what was going on or where stuff was.
No way I could stand around in that madness til 5AM. Much prefer Best Buy's system.
Did pick up 8 $5 blu rays: Passion of the Christ, 12 Rounds, Family Guy movie, Simpsons movie, Night at the Museum 2, Batman Gotham Knight, Walking Tall, The Wrestler
I was the only one picking out blu rays.Comment

But yeah those palets in the middle of the aisle and workers not knowing whats up and whats down is your typical Walmart on Black Friday. Mainly because that be the over night crew.
Over night crew at Walmart don't know jack because 99% of the time they JUST STOCK SHELVES and that's it. They really not sellers or knowledable about anything at all. All they know is they got to unload the trucks and bring the palets out on the floor and stock shelves, that's it.
However.........which is very odd but over night crew at Walmart don't ever stock video games, music or movies, the day crew does that. At least that is how it was when I worked there.
So if you ask an over night crew something that is music, movies or videogames related, they want have a clue what you are talking about.Comment
