Yeah, that has honestly given me a better appreciation for his work. It's very unfortunate that so many people seem to be coming from these backgrounds that honestly make no sense.

Nope, only if you lived in certain areas or read certain websites or something to that effect you would have known. But this is the 1st time it is national known on the grand scale, since damn near every woman either watches Oprah or have a female friend or relative that does.

And we all know women will hop on the phone in a heart beat to tell the news to the rest of their friends. I already had 15 female friends text me about it that they seen it on oprah or on oprah website.

I don't think folks ever considered him being funny in the first place. Most folks(myself included)just said how we couldn't stand his movies but nobody has or does consider Tyler Perry to be funny.

This is pretty crazy. Never even seen any of his movies. Just didn't seem interesting to me. But I did think it was SUPER random seeing him in Star Trek.

The man is s true entrepreneur. Never gave up on his dream and puts out very positive movies and plays that exposes problems in the black culture. He was never meant to be a ha ha funny comedian. He is more of an, I know your pain, type of performer/writer/director.
