Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
I'll post the same thing I posted on the Xbox forum here. The thing about these 4K HDR tvs is that if they don't retain a certain black level and at the same time reach a certain amount of nit brightness it's useless. I would spend a little more and only get a UHD premium certified tv.

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
To be honest, I think they are very similar in PQ. Granted, my set is a LOT larger than the LG. The colors seemed really good on the LG though. Could be where there's is in a dark room. Mine is mounted above the fireplace, in a room with floor to ceiling windows so a lot of light. I would go with either, truly no preference.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Well I been really looking at this set hard. In hearing nothing but great things about it . It's HDR ULTRA HD, and it's $599 for the 55". I think I may settle got this since I don't wanna break the bank. And the best thing of all Hisense gives you a 4 year warranty, yes 4 years out the box.

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
REVIEW
The Hisense H8C is a budget 4k TV, with good picture quality that is uncommon for the price. It has little motion blur and supports a wide range of inputs. Unlik...
5.0 Motion Interpolation
Motion Interpolation (30 fps):
Yes
Motion Interpolation (60 fps):
No (Not good)
The H8C is able to interpolate 30fs content up to the native refresh rate of 60Hz. It is not able to interpolate content faster than this.
7.6 Input Lag
1080p @ 60Hz
: 32.1 ms
1080p With Interpolation
: 48.8 ms
1080p @ 60Hz Outside Game Mode
: 48.8 ms
1080p @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4
: 32.1 ms
4k @ 60Hz
: 51.0 ms
4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4(not great)
: 51.0 ms
4k @ 60Hz + HDR
: 53.5 ms
4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4 + HDR
: 53.5 msLast edited by Tomba; 10-15-2016, 12:43 PM.Brand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Its weird though the site gave it a 8.5 for gaming
If you want the best of the best with almost no compromises, the best gaming TV we’ve tested overall is the Samsung S95F OLED.

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Its ISNT bad by any stretch. Im just not sure the hdr gaming on it will be that good.
See the problem is(and im in the same boat getting a 4k now) is that what i have is already good minus the hdr and 4k rez.
BUT i really want to upgrade to see the differences since both systems are going for hdr.
Rtings.com is a wonderful site its what i used to get my current gaming tv and the tv is AWESOME its just not 4k and does not do hdr.
Wanting to get the same type of motionblur and gaming experience im having right now with my current set will cost about 4 times what i spent on my current tv.
So "GOING" 4k is very tricky if your a gamer "used to" somethingBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Anyone know of or ever had this model? Getting good reviews everywhere I look, just don't have it locally:
Polaroid 65GSR3100FA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...5026-_-Product
Could get it for under $750 shipped from another site though.Comment

Re: Plasma or LCD? - The TV Thread
Just my opinion, but I wouldn't even consider touching a Polaroid TV.
