Enigma, ask the sales rep to talk to the manager about that. Believe me, if my dad was there he'd get his way. I don't know what he says but he says the right thing. There might have been a chance to nab it somehow, I just don't know exactly what you would have had to say though lol but getting the manager would have been the first thing.
I know this, he called the manager and the manager said no and would not come around.

Giving someone $2G's should not be this complicated

The kicker is they said the promotion was over for now, yet I see the commercial today.

Bunch of clowns. All of them.

That's freakin' unbelievable, but I'm only defending them as much as possible because I stay loyal to Best Buy as an RZ member (and my dislike for somewhere like Wal-Mart). If you told yhe same story about there I would say "That's why I don't shop at Wal-Mart."

By the way, which Best Buy did you go to? Was it the Mission Valley one?

I'm loyal to no store, unless it supports the small business local community (mom and pop). Especially not loyal to big chain stores.

RZ is all smoke and mirrors. You see their prices on things? The upcharge over most other stores especially the Internet is how it balances out. Shopping online like Amazon saves you more than any RZ benefit can give you 95% of the time. But that is my take over the years of price checking etc.

It was one out where I live on the east coast. In a prestigious area, maybe my $2Gs was not good enough. Used to foolish expendable incomes dropping $6grand on nonsense.

I bought paint a few weeks ago, I still have to paint the panel. I was trying to decide if I should lower it or not. Plus I'm ordering some new HDMI cables and 90 degree HDMI plugs since its a bit snug behind the TV.
Gotcha. LMAO...I meant your "other" (left) right speaker? IMO, you might want to lower it to the point where your wires don't show when they come out...if that makes sense.

Honestly, it would be fine even if you don't move it.

Just a question, but what made you hang the TV?

Not trying to sound rude, just looks really busy on the wall with everything else there.

Agreed. I used to shop BB almost exclusively. Then I find out about Amazon.com Rarely go into a BB now unless somebody has given me a gift card. Especially when Amazon price matches them and don't charge tax.

As much as I buy on Amazon I should sign up for the yearly membership and get free 2 day shipping.

Yes you should it's the best thing ever. You can even "share" it with family members. I have a couple of people I split the cost with that are "nephews" and "uncles".

Oh LOL! Very good point. I have wall mounts for the speakers that I haven't used yet. Was trying to wait to see what I do with another set of speakers, but is a good idea to fix that due to the wires. The wires can look messy.

As Enigma said, I have no choice due to the kids. Remember a few years ago when I bought that 32" Olevia LCD which I waited outside CC for Black Friday and my oldest son tossed a toy car at the screen damaging half of it? Ever since that point, not taking a choice anymore. With this screen having glass, no way am I going to risk it plus I have a 2 year old I have to worry about, the other 3 kids are old enough now to know not tossing things around by the TV.

Kids I tell ya............I remember 20 years ago my uncle had a 50 inch tv in the den. He literally had that den gated off too. You couldn't step foot in that den unless you were 12 and over.

LOL! I can believe it. I try to be like a guard dog around my electronics.

Does IKEA sell decent AV racks?

I was looking at this while at Best Buy yesterday, but feel like $150 might be too much. I like what I have now which is a few years old, but it would allow me to move the cable mgmt panel downwards with this plus make it easier with all those cables. There is enough shelves on here for all my AV equipment.

$150 is about the going rate for media towers.......same prices at walmart for media towers like that.

Lowe's Home Improvement sells these tempered glass shelving systems with different types of "legs" etc.

They are in an isle, and all different size tempered glass shelves to make anything from a TV stand to end tables to media towers. The holes are already put in them, and you buy them by the piece for the legs, hardware and glass.

They are very well made, and come out to be much cheaper than these "kits", and look very clean.

Just another alternative. I use two end table styles with round brushed stainless legs for my computer towers to sit on and the PS3/360 underneath.

                              Works nice.
