For anyone with the tcl p605, everyone is all over this TV for gaming. But does anyone have any comments on how hockey looks? I'm a little concerned about motion blur and white uniformity for the ice, I have a budget LG in another room (uh6035 I believe) and when watching hockey you can see that the edges of the screen are a little dimmer with some vertical bar effect. Also when the camera trails the puck down ice, there is a bit of motion blur. Just trying to avoid anything like that since all I really use my TV for is hockey and gaming.
My next option up is trying for the x900 around black Friday, or possibly trying to use that target 20% off coupon and really stretch to a lg b7. Looking for this TV to be it for a few years at least, with another kid on the way I'm figuring this will be one of my last big purchases for myself for a while. So I can stretch the budget a bit if needed but I'd obviously rather not if the tcl would fit my needs.

I've watched football and it's fine...i haven't had any hockey on it lately (it usually has kids shows now ugh lol). I haven't personally had any issues watching tv, for me it's been great all around. I'm not hyper picky though, i just wanted a nice future proof tv.
Debating selling my 50" H8C and getting a 55" TCL 55P605. Only going to do it if I can get $400+ from the H8C. It's still $470 @ Best Buy, so with a 5 year warranty I might get lucky.
Really regretting not getting a the 55" KS8000 I could have gotten for $800 last year, lol

The KS8000 would have been nice lol
The TCL is awesome though.
Has me wondering in the back of my head what prices will be over the next few years...imagine the quality 55" 4K sets we can get for 400 then. I get how the technology keeps improving, but for a vast majority of people/situations the cheaper one will be amazing. The upgrades are getting to be more for the enthusiast.

That is why I'll likely just hold onto the H8C. I have a 65" Panasonic plasma that will hold me over until OLED comes down in price and becomes more common. I could get a 65" B7 for $2,391.99 right now, but I think my fiance might divorce me before the wedding

Anyone here have a TCL S series set? I got one for my bedroom because it had great ratings and was really cheap. The TV has overall great colors and contrast but HDR gaming on the PS4 looks like trash. It looks really washed out and the colors are off. Wondering if there is a way to fix this.

That's because the S series won't do HDR. It can only accept the signal.
