Surprised by all the positive reviews I've seen and heard though. I was already interested before but now I'm a lot more interested in seeing this.

Yup - it's movies like this, and the slew of superhero movies coming out, that make me wish I had a site like ninjavideo around still.

The good news is movies are coming to DVD a lot quicker now. I've noticed it usually only takes 4 months or so. Before it used to be 6 months or more.

My ranking in terms of sheer enjoyment:
1) Tokyo Drift
2) Fast Five
3) The Fast and the Furious
4) Fast and Furious
5) The Fast and the Furious 2

I have to put Tokyo Drift and Fast Five as 1A and 1B. The rest are ranked perfectly though. Also 2 was complete crap.

I saw it in Imax Saturday..

It was the right mix of humor and great action. It started with a bang and finished on top.. great movie.

I stayed through the credits and there was a collective "what the hell ?" from everyone else who stayed.. I guess they got to leave us hanging for the next one. Letty ? Seriously ?

I don't remember Vince dying? He got real hurt and was taken away on a helicopter was the last we saw of him. You were thinking Jesse?

havent checked here in a long time...but no, I was assuming Vince died, I knew Jesse died. But after seeing Vince's scars on his arm, Im glad they did acknowledge it.

Great movie, I say it's the second best imo behind the original. Going into the credits I thought, what a great way to wrap up the franchise, but then I stayed a little longer, and now I don't know what to think, just hope the 6th can match up with this one.

I'm probably going to see the movie this Friday.

One question though if you had to pick between this movie and Thor which one would you watch?

Multiple answers would be appreciated. At first it wasn't even a question that Thor was the movie I need to go see but, I've heard to many people talking their heads off about fast 5 so I'm kinda stuck.

Thor honestly doesn't seem the least bit interesting to me. The only appeal for me there so far would be any Marvel connection with the other movies and Natalie Portman.

If you've seen the other F&F movies, I would recommend Fast Five.

Yeah it didn't appeal much to me either but, the more I see the commercials the it keeps tugging my interest because, recent superhero movies have been pretty good.

I'll go with the safe pick and go with fast 5. Thor looks like it could disappoint. Most of he appeal was exactly the reason you mentioned that it will be tied in with the other marvel movies.

Thanks to both of you. I enjoyed the last fast and furious movies and this one is looking like it's gonna be good.

Just got back from seeing this, pretty good movie. In terms of just pure car orgasm, this one isn't as good as the first or even Tokyo Drift; but as an overall movie it was the best in the series bar none.

Definitely enjoyable. About the after credit, i could careless. I didn't like her character too much anyway.

I just expected her to be gone from the movie. It seems that, in their scheme to bring back all of the previous actors , they found some bizzare way to bring her back. I'm interested to see how she's still alive.. and I hope it's not completely stupid. I'll watch anything with the name Fast and the Furious, anyways..
