I laughed so hard at that part. I swear this show gets funnier and funnier as they flesh out the characters and time goes on. Easily my favorite comedy, animated or not.

Easily my favorite comedy, animated or not.

It makes me really sad that we have to... what's the right word I'm looking for... qualify?

It makes me sad that in our culture we have to qualify television shows because they are animated. If told to make a list of my favorite shows (of all-time) I can guarantee more than 75% of that list would be animated (be it American cartoons or anime.)

In fact, the only shows I keep up with watching on TV/simulcast on the internet (sporting events aside) are this show, South Park and Log Horizon - all 3 being fantastic shows.

My two favorite shows are South Park and Bob's Burgers. I tend to like them more than non-animated shows.

It works for movies (both Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies are fantastic movies based mainly on eliciting an emotional response to whatever happens) so I'm sure it could work if one were to attempt it.

The basics of having good writing, pacing and story would still apply. I haven't watched Attack on Titan yet but my hopes are super high for it.

Some of my fave shows are cartoons. Just think people have to stop thinking of cartoons as like kid shows and superhero stuff, for past 10-15 years especially, there have been many cartoons that are directed towards 14+ audiences(Family Guy,Simpsons,South Park and so on)

The newer animated Batman stuff beats any Batman movies out there.

For me personally, if I was forced to choose between live-action and animated shows for the rest of my life, the choice would be fairly easy. But I already explained that in the Uncommon Opinions thread before.
