Curse NASCAR for pushing back the schedule. I turned it to Fox with 13 laps left and thought "Oh, this will only take about ten minutes, I'll just leave it here" and an hour later the race finally ended. That is a contender for the worst hour I've spent in a loooong time.

ah. I was trying to think what could have pushed it back. Forgot about NASCAR.

Sunday is the worst scheduling night in television history. Fox delays stuff all the time, CBS delays stuff all the time! Why even have shows on Sunday if they're delayed every other week.

I don't watch Fox shows on Sundays anymore cause I have other shows on Sundays to watch(since they air when they should, without delays) but I do DVR it, but I always DVR the timeshifting channel since it does air on time then.

FOX does not delay. It used to be like that, but they almost never do it now. CBS is another story as during football they are always delayed.

Well, they did this past Sunday then. At least mine did (or one of mine - I have like 5 duplicate channels for the basic stuff).

I'm pretty sure they do during football, too - unless they simply take the post-game to the 7:30/8 mark.

FOX wised up a few years ago and didn't start new programming until 8PM. This was a one time thing as the race was delayed hours because of rain. They couldn't exactly plan for that to happen.

Cleveland Show officially cancelled, so would be interesting to see what Fox does(if anything). I doubt they will, and prob shouldn't, so that they won't delay the primetime shows if NFL or MLB goes till like 7:40 or something on Sunday

And this upcoming episode of Bobs Burger is the season finale!

I assume they'll be begging for Futurama back and that'll go in the slot this has and this or American Dad will get the death slot.

Doubt it'll happen, but I'm hoping American Dad gets cancelled after this season then they have Futurama-Simpsons from 8-9, Bobs Burger at 9, then Family Guy at 9:30.

At earliest, Futurama would be midseason replacement in January-February, but I think it'd be better if they had it starting in September.

Only thing that makes me think Fox might want Futurama back is that they still have Simpsons on the air, and it's made by same people, so even though Fox did cancel Futurama before, with an actual good timeslot now to have it in, don't see why they wouldn't wanna have it.
