Does Anybody Watch "The Game"?

Was wondering if anyone else on here watches that show as well or am I the only person that does?

New Season starts tonight at 10 PM on BET for those interested.

Lol, man every woman ive talked to has been going crazy over the premiere tonight....

Me and the Mrs. are watching it now, its one of the few shows she watches I can tolerate...mostly because its football related...

I like the show, all the premiere stuff really turned me off to it. I went from wanting to watch the premiere w/ some friends to just dvr-ing it and wtaching it when I get to it

Nope. Wife is trying to get into it because all of her friends are talking about it. I'm trying to teach her about not succumbing to peer pressure.

Everybody I know has been talking about it and asking me if I saw it.


I just don't watch much tv anymore (except for sports).

My free time is spent on video games and trying to stay active.

I actually ended up watching it just because so many girls I know have been talking about it. Its not a bad show, and the premiere wasn't bad but its predictable as hell. The acting isn't all that great and you can see every plot-point coming from a mile away. It would be better if it had actual football in it, then it could have some cross-sex appeal. I might watch it if I happen to catch it while flipping the channels in the coming weeks, but its not must-watch DVR programming by any stretch.

I watched the last season, and after all of the drama that I saw happening, Im shunning this one.

Its nothing but a night time soap opera and thats just not my cup of tea.

Hell no I don't watch that stupid show but I know what the first episode was about cause every single person on facebook was talking about it. Also, I refuse to watch anything on BET.

It was originally a UPN show, I highly doubt it BET's production will be better than the original series.

The original series was pretty ok for it to be a "females" show, I believe the same people who made the show Girlfriends (which was a good show) are/was behind the game.

I used to be a big fan of the show because there was a balance to the on/off field stuff that goes on. Based off the first ep it seems way too overdone and excessive now. Everyone is ballin' out all crazy now and show seems to be more about shine than substance.

I'll check out a few more to see if the trend continues but as it stands, it seems BET has ruined a decent show....
