Re: Your Favorite 2011 Golden Globe Winners?
I was surprised Inception got shut out. I thought it would win for sound and screenplay. I really liked Social Network, and it was a fantastically written movie, but it's based on a true story. The story is already there. I don't know, just my opinion, but I thought Inception was marvelously written and came from a single idea (pun intended).
Still the best moment at the Golden Globes came last year:

That's actually a really good point, Inception was prolly as original and well written as it got this year.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

That's the issue with the Golden Globes that won't be an issue in the Academy Awards.
Golden Globes only chooses one screenplay no matter the point of origin.
The Academy Awards will honor an adapted screenplay and an original."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
