This season has been a dud. I've been on the laptop the past 2 episodes.

While the ratings are still high, I can tell viewer fatigue is starting to happen. I think a lot of people that are down on the show will still tune in the rest of the season just out of habit. The real test will be the ratings for next season.

I believe Season 5 is already in the can. The JWoww/Snooki and Pauly D spin off shows have also already been taped. That's 3 more Jersey Shore related shows that will be airing next year.

The same things happen every season/episode. I think we've just reached the point where we are bored.

The whole cast must pinch themselves everyday over how much money they've made from Jersey Shore and all the other side benefits that come with out. Every cast member is a millionaire. They get paid thousands of dollars to just show up at clubs/events and get their picture taken. They have book deals, clothing deals, DVD deals, drink deals, acting gigs, get invited to celebrity only events, etc...

The Situation has already made over 6 million dollars since the show started. Outside of getting paid, they also get most of their hotel/restaurant/flights comped.

I didn't watch last week. This week I watched until the first commercial break and gave up on it. Wasn't sure if it was me or the show, apparently its the show

I wouldn't say all of them. Pauly pulls in roughly 6 figures per week and has established an identity outside of the show. Resident DJ at the Palm in Vegas , touring with Brittney Spears , part owner of Juicy Couture , 40k per DJ appearance , and working with 50 Cent and Diddy on other business ventures.

I'll give him MAYBE $50,000 a month but $100,000 a week? Hell no I REFUSE to believe that and he's actually one of my favorite dudes on the show

40k per gig when he isn't spinning at the Palms. When not on tour with Spears he does 1-3 DJ appearances per week. Add that to the Palms money and that's 6 figures. That doesn't even count the money from his other business ventures.

Trust me the guy is doing very well for himself.

You underestimate the power of the target audience. The show still does very well on Thursday nights at 10pm.

There are MTV derivatives that you can go to for that video after video after video stuff, 24/7.

I dont mind MTV today. Although the network's name is invalid now.

Not even really talking about the video's 24/7. The programming was just better imo. I could argue this on just about ever channel today.

Props to Pauly for calling out Ronnie for being a lame *** follower. It's about time. We've seen this from Season 1. LOL@Mike- "One week he wants to be the Situation the next Pauly".

Snooki- gutter trash.
Deena- the gutter trash underneath the gutter trash.
Jenny- too old for TV

It still kills me that these dudes go to a club...and dance with each other. At least Mike tries to scope something out and bring home.

But the rest of them...lames.

The target audience is girls around the age of 14-21. While some of the shows when we were in that age group where cool to us, as we get older the channel will no longer appeal to us. That is what is happening.
