Any suggestions for a laptop.

I haven't been in the market for a new computer in a long time. My current desktop is 11 years old and it's a Dell, but this time around I'll be getting a laptop. I have a PS3 and don't plan on doing much gaming, but I wouldn't mind being able to play a few PC games here and there.

I have up to a grand to spend, but I'd really rather only spend about 5-600 dollars. Has anyone seen any good deals floating around that I may have missed ? I've been shopping the usual websites like bestbuy, but most decent laptops seem to cost quite a bit.

I'm not trying to be a cheap ***, but if I've been getting by with an 11 year old Dell desktop.. most any upgrade to something new would be nice.

Any suggestions ?

Well yeah decent laptops going to cost a bit if you plan to do any kind of gaming at all. You can get some decent Acers for that price, but really can't game on it though, unless it is some old PC games, but nothing within the past 2 years though.

What ever laptop you get, make sure it is a dual core with at least 3 ghz speed or some where near it. Dedicated graphics card of course, none of that integrated BS.
