The Grammys 2/13/11

[Sausage]

This year the show has been on point. I don't remember watching in years past, but I love the fact that it is performance after performance. Presenters are keeping it simple and winners keeping short and concise. Really good show this year.

I saw what I cared about - Bieber losing (twice), Eminem won best rap album and Eminem's performance.

All in all I enjoyed it, as well.

I"m glad Bieber lost.

I didn't see too much of the show but that performance with Cee Lo Green singing "Eff You" was um...weird.

Now if only Eminem can win artist of the year over Lady Gaga and everyone this'll be the best Grammys I've watched in awhile.

I'll take Arcade Fire over Gaga/Perry/Lady Antebellum or well, most of the current "popular" music out there.

Never expected them to win this though. Had no idea they were this well respected in the music community.

I'm a huge Arcade Fire fan, and I never thought for a second they'd win that award. I figured Eminem was a lock, or Lady Antebellum failing that. And my thoughts were pretty much confirmed when they lost "alternative" album to The Black Keys.

I'm a huge Arcade Fire fan, and I never thought for a second they'd win that award. I figured Eminem was a lock, or Lady Antebellum failing that. And my thoughts were pretty much confirmed when they lost "alternative" album to The Black Keys.

Another reason why the Grammys make no sense. I have nothing personal against this band, seeing as how I've never heard of them before tonight, but don't understand how you can lose in your genre's individual category and somehow win the overall album of the year.
