Okay I wasn't stating that they are/weren't legends.

But to say Tom Pettys, Neil Young, or Jeff Becks newest cds are 3 of the top 5 "rock" albums to be released this year is insulting to say the least.

But I never take the Grammys seriously anyway.
But yes, I am aware of those musicians

I think they are more true rock than Muse.

Also who where the two bands before Bob?

That's about usually when the Grammy's catch on to "under the radar" artists.

The Cee-Lo performance was pretty entertaining.

It's like how it wouldn't make sense that Toy Story 3 is nominated in Best Animated Picture and is the only animated movie to be nominated in Best Picture, but somehow loses in BAP.

                          Yeah, I don't get it.

I'm not a fan of Bieber and don't think he should've won or even been nominated, but don't understand how someone who's first album came out in 2006 can be best 'new' artist.

I guarantee you can look at every winner of that award and they all had albums years before.

It's more best new mainstream artist. That's how it is for all music awards shows. A band I've been listening to for 5 years and had like 4 albums won best new country group the year they finally had a top 40 single on a major label.
