    Cable company and Bandwidth

can anyone confirm or deny that a cable company sends a higher signal during the weekend than during the week?

the reason i'm asking, i've recently been doing some work with my home av. since i don't know much on the topic i've done a lot of experimenting and reading up on things.

i've come to the conclusion, or maybe i'm just crazy, that during the week the sound being omitted is a lot more flat sounding during the week, and more full or robust starting friday night.

anyone have any info on such a thing?

I turn up the volume because I have 3 kids ages 6 months to 6 years. I usually mute the commercials cause those are still louder even though my TV has a volume level setting.
I have no clue if broadcasters send a louder audio broadcast compared to weekdays. I've actually noticed the volume varies from each show to the next. For example a movie volume was really low where I had to have my volume up to 24. Commercials were louder volume down to 16. And the next show (football playoff game) was at 21, commercials during that broadcast were 18.

It be interesting to find out if they do raise the broadcast volume but if they did it varies from show to show commercial to commercial.
