    X-Men Anime

The teaser trailer for the X-Men anime being developed by Madhouse in association with Marvel Comics.

Warren Ellis is providing guidance on the series set in Japan as well as three others in development: Iron Man, Blade and Wolverine.

The X-Men are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on.

All four series are said to include 12 episodes, each 30 minutes long. G4TV signed a deal to bring the four to its network, either dubbed or subtitled, in 2011.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Oh wow, has there ever been anything similar to this with the X-Men? Or Batman or Spiderman etc.?

    This looks really intriguing.

And they're developing one for Wolvie?

I saw a teaser for Wolverine and Iron Man about a year ago. I'll have to ask my friend the name. Wolverine looked good but Iron Man looked so/so.

And Spider-man? Spider-man doesn't get anything. lol Here or in Japan which is a damn shame.

wait. So Warren Ellis is borrowing pieces of Grant Morrison's new X-Men storyline with the U-Men? I'm so watching this.

There was a Batman anime project a couple or so years ago called Batman: Gotham Knight It's an anthology of 6 short films all using anime techniques.
